Right to Choose
At Adult ADHD Northwest, we are pleased to accept Right to Choose (RTC) referrals for ADHD assessments. If you are registered with a GP in England and your GP agrees to refer you, you have the legal right to choose our service for your ADHD assessment, especially if you are unable to access your local NHS service promptly.

We currently hold the NHS contract with Bolton ICB, and our private clinic operates from Edgeworth Medical Practice, where we also see patients referred via the Right to Choose pathway. Through the Right to Choose route, we aim to offer assessments within reasonable time scales while maintaining the same high standards of care and clinical thoroughness we apply across all our services.
How to Be Referred
If you would like to be referred to us via Right to Choose, here’s what you need to do:

Speak to your GP and request a referral to Edgworth Medical Practice via Right to Choose.

Your GP can email referrals directly to our secure NHS email address.

Once we receive the referral, we will contact you to arrange your assessment appointment.
